Denver, CO - Monroe Group Ltd, a leading real estate development firm specializing in affordable multi-family and senior/disabled housing, closed their offices last Friday to allow employees to participate in a Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver project in Englewood, Colorado. Monroe Group volunteers spent the day installing drywall into a home at 2074 West Hillside Ave. soon to be occupied by a family who emigrated from Vietnam.

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver has built over 320 homes in the Denver area since its inception in 1979. Monroe Group volunteers helped construct what will be one of over 30 houses completed in 2008.

“This volunteer project is especially meaningful to our company,” Chad Asarch, a principle at Monroe Group stated. “Monroe Group strives to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for our residents; our mission is very similar to that of Habitat for Humanity. Our team truly enjoyed working on the Habitat project and was excited by the opportunity to give back to the community.”
